PATRICK PEREZ VIDAURI (President) and CRISTINA NAVA (C.E.O) are a husband and wife team of film and television makers based in Los Angeles. In 2011 they launched Migrant Filmworks, committed to producing cutting edge content for the burgeoning U.S. Latino market. They are also founding members of the collective of mid career US based filmmakers called Cinematicas, dedicated to advancing, accelerating, and amplifying Latino American storytelling. They live with their three children in Los Angeles, California.

CRISTINA NAVA was born, raised, and currently lives in Los Angeles, California, Cristina is a screenwriter and producer of independent film and television content.
Most recently, Cristina co-wrote and produced the romantic comedy feature film titled DIVORCE BAIT starring Vannessa Vazquez (East Los High, Hulu) and Justin Berti (Secret Lives of Housewives). This movie is being acquired by Samuel Goldwyn. Cristina wrote and produced the award-winning Romantic Comedy, IN OTHER WORDS, starring Chris Kattan (SNL), Edy Ganem ("Devious Maids") and Bryan McClure (Star Command, Atlanta), Renee Victor (With Love), which was acquired and released in February of 2020 on HBOMax. Cristina is currently producing the romantic comedy THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYER written/directed by Nancy De Los Santos, associate producer on “Selena” and “Mi Familia”, set to shoot in San Antonio fall of 2022. Cristina is a versatile writer and producer, and, merging these two worlds, she has worked as a story producer for TELEMUNDO’s popular show, La Voz (The Voice). She was also a Producer for Nickelodeon's “Treasure Truck”, and worked with Stanford University School of Medicine to write and produce animation films about hypertension and diabetes for their Health Education program. |

Patrick Perez Vidauri is an accomplished creator of film and television. His first feature "Lola's Love Shack" about three Latino boys coming of age in the urban U.S. won critics and audiences with its smart and funny tone. Will Ferrell had this to say about it, " Heartfelt and silly. It made me laugh, and I hate laughing." It is in distribution worldwide. His 2nd feature film the romantic comedy, "In Other Words", is currently in post production. Patrick's recent producer credits include the Netflix documentary, "The Day I Met El Chapo, The Kate Del Castillo Story."
Patrick is a 2nd generation Californian who grew up in Hacienda Heights, CA. He studied Anthropology at Columbia University and Production/Directing at the UCLA Film School. |
